About Us
Who we are
We are a team of change-makers who believe that no one goes blind from avoidable causes.
Weekly clinics are held at Islamgarh Welfare Trust (IWT) (since 1999) and in 2014 began to hold free eye camps in various rural areas with our first camp in the village of Jandala, Poona, AJK. At this first camp our team of professionals screened 235 patients and surgeries undertaken on 39 individuals.

Our approach
Our Mission
To relieve poverty, sickness and promote the health benefits internationally and in particular the inhabitants of Azad Jammu, Kashmir and Pakistan. This without distinction of age, gender, race, political, religious, or other opinion, by associating the statutory authorities, voluntary organisations and inhabitants in a common effort to advance in eye care, and to provide facilities in the interest of social welfare, for recreation or other leisure time occupation with the object of improving the health and wellbeing of the said inhabitants
In Kashmir, the number of people in need of eye care is increasing. Unless eye care services improve the number of people who are blind could triple by 2050.
Our Vision
Our vision is of a world where no one goes blind from avoidable causes.
Our aim is to see a world where needy & vulnerable have access to free eye care. To prevent sight loss and avoidable blindness in the world by treating conditions such as cataracts and other eye diseases.
Our numbers speak for themselves
We wish to see a world where everyone has free Eye Care for the needy & the vulnerable. We prevent sight loss and avoidable blindness by treating conditions such as cataracts and other eye diseases.
